Hi, I'm Hannah

I'm a children's author, illustrator and creative based in Yorkshire. I write and illustrate warm, playful stories for children and families — books that celebrate the everyday moments, big feelings and small adventures of growing up.

Alongside writing and illustrating, I co-founded ICAN — the Indie Children's Author Network, a network supporting and championing children's authors and illustrators — and Cloudberry & Ink, a small independent publishing house based in Yorkshire.

Literacy advocacy sits at the heart of everything I do. I love working with schools, libraries and organisations to get more books into more hands, and to show children that their stories matter.

When I'm not writing, illustrating or recording, you'll find me somewhere in Yorkshire with my family, a notebook and far too many ideas.
